...studies vs car...

no news = good news;

After the recent announcement that car prices drops, my father thought of buying a new or maybe a second hand car.. Initially I was hooked too.. and was sharing with him an idea how we can use the car within the family.. End up forgetting abt my savings for my further studies.. Yep, like how i used to work in Edo for my allowance during my poly days..So i intend to study p/t and work p/t...have heard so much abt the stress and stuff...And i know i must be mentally prepared...
But this is not the end.. my father came marching into my room just now, sumhow angrily bcoz i back out of the idea of buying the new car.. And ever since my bro has graduated from NUS, he seems to be at home the whole day 'farming' his pool of goldfish, instead of finding an income for the family.. So picking this as an example, father said it'll 'definitely' be useless for me to study for degree, which i may end up 'farming' another pool of goldfish!!! aRhHhgGgg.. what a weird logic?? Felt abit sad, coz i felt so unfair... u guys should knows y... if he don't intend to support me to study the course, i'll support myself anyway.. what's the point of getting a car when it's just an additional expense to the family.. and since we have already lived without it for years.. i dun see any investment values... i dun even see whats so impt of a car more than my studies and future.. is a car really that impt to him?
