...back to complaint...
AT EDO, after boss left, everything was in a mess. People like ME argueing over job scope. The new manager was not interested in managment of staff and all he bothers was SALES. True enough, only after than that I realised that his intention was to prove his superior that he wants to make a difference.Previsouly I mentioned newcomers from Cineleisure came to join us. Yet procedures were not communicate to them properly. Was especially pissed off when one of our own experienced collegue, who is working with them daily did not inform them what to do. Instead, she allow the newcomers to take up her intended role. Sounds more like a bully to me. That very day I will not forget. I confronted her and all the reasons she gave was, "I let them do what they want to do, since all of us can 'give and take', and we are willing to cover for each other and we are satisfied with our scope... blah blah blah.. We don't need managers to distribute the job, we can do it ourselves. We have been doing the same thing every day since mon to thur". I do not know why, but immediately my fury came and i raised my voice at her and said, "You 3 are not the only staff of this restaurant! I don't care how you work for the past mon to thur, but please draw the lines clear." At that time, I was feeling sooooo unfair for the newcomers. They don't even know they were being used and they have been covering others' scope. Maybe I have been over protective of boss's methods, and I just want everything to stay the same.
But what makes me angrier was what she said, "Anyway, I'm not doing closing duty, but i'm already helping out. Caleb was supposed to take over my shift, but i think until now he still doesn't know about it." In actual, she was scheduled for the closing shift, but she made a last minute request to our new manager, not to work for closing duties. Yet there was nobody covering her shift and she pinpointed a 3rd unknowing party. Again, I lost my temper and almost shouted this time round, "You ought to have the responsibility to look for someone to cover your shift. It's not for manager to find someone to take over your shift. And you still have the cheek to tell me Caleb does not know about extending his duties. Don't you intend to tell him now???" I was petty enough even for that extension of 30min closing shift, but I insist on my stand. After a series of arguement, where no one takes a step back, we finally quietened down and get back to our own work. Never did I expect, she went to back area and make a call to our new manager to inform him about our arguements. What's worst was, she only says half, or rather, one sided story, and my manager still thought i was making a bug fuss with his newcomers' work performance. Heartfelt desc for this collegue: BITCH!!#$&#%*!! I shared this story with some other closer collegues and I'm prepared for more stories ahead then. True enough, when the next day I came back work, she had been telling everyone the one-side story, saying that I made little reports to boss, to supervisors, to new manager and even to collegues. Well, I said what i think and I'm frank. She's unfortunate to have stab the WRONG person.
This incident still burns the rage in me... and i sworn to see her quit before me.. ahhhggggg...
