My Interviews Experience

Was looking for job hoping to get a better pay with good job prospect. But mostly stated, experience required. Finally saw those simple jobs like customer service in DBS and UOB. I apply and sent resume then. DBS called me back first and arranged for a meeting, thereafter a sec meeting.
This time round, it was a lady who interviewed me. I think i turn up too late, since i was at Genting, i supposed they already have a choosen candidate and the lady sounds busy and no time for me. By the end of our conversation, she was saying, "I'll feedback to the HR which position will be more suitable for you." This statement indeed spoilt my day. hMmM.. does it mean i shouldn't have gone to Genting? Or should i rushed back immediately upon receiving the call? Well, it gave me the impression that .."well ger, the position doesn't suits you.." and when i asked which job she recommend for me in DBS, "Maybe the Hi Greeter(Receptionist)??" OFF! I smile politely and left, thinking that i'm applying for a simple customer service and yet they gave me a yet simplier job.. haha. Luckily i received their letter of rejection. Otherwise i would not have know how to reject their GOOD offer.
Meanwhile, UOB also gave me a call and arranged a meeting on the same day. I brought the disappointed look over from DBS to UOB. Well, this time round they asked questions like "What do you know abt UOB? What do you know abt Banking? Frankly speaking how you ranked your interests for this job offered?" I couldn't ans the first 2 questions, LolxXXx.. infact i just thought that might be some questions they can ans me..haha.. and for the last qn, of coz i ans positively.. lolxXx.. Otherwise how would i bother to go for applying n interviewing for it? Anyway luckily i got a positive reply, they asked me down for a medical checkup. And really hopefully they would give me a reply soon when to start work. Coz I'm Out Of Work now.. that goes to say, i'll be facing financial pbs again in one or two mths time?? lolxXXx...

Is Everything between us over?

On our last day of the chalet, he past me a gift. To him a significant one. As usual, I didn't want to accept anymore of his gift. Coz to me, it doesn't means anything anymore. I rejected, but he insist that it's the last. I took the gift to applease him again, didn't allow him to explain any further and got down the cab asap. It was a handmade figurine done with clay, and perhaps the only gift he puts effort in making it. It was a figure of an island with a coconut tree and a couple, surrounded by navy blue sea. As i left hurriedly w/o his explanations, he made another email to me to me to explain the meaning of the mould:

i made this little island, where you and me stands under this shady tree. >>This is what it means: imagine.. deep into the fantasy of our minds... the island was created by us. but now it does not exists anymore. so i made an exact same island, but prehaps more beautiful than it should actually be. it is simpler than what the original one should be too.. cos i want to create a new memory, of good things worth remembering, nothing bad around. there we stood, as two little plain white figure, cos we are not there physically but like two souls. well, i'm gonna safeguard this island that i created, and i want to just invite you to take a look and enjoy the view of "our" new little island. but i do not expect you to stay, it's might be too small and boring to you. so since we're just souls in this imaginary island i recreated myself, you're the VIP welcomed to come and go anytime you like. i will safeguard this island everyday, for as long as i can maintain it. that's about it!
too small and boring >> I looked at the figurine again. I was quite upset. Indeed it brought me back, to the place i used to be, to the heart i used to be in, but the available space in that place was rapidly filled n packed, n finally i found no place to stay. I grew independent, but too independent w/o him.
we are not there physically but like two souls >> Yes, i might be the white soul, a soul who couldn't find its body to return anymore, a soul whom will only be able to view and roam the island, a memory only to be reflected.
I looked at the figurine again, i promised i will looked at it when i'm thinking of u... ...

for(int i = 24; i<26; i++)

Gather with my poly frenz and took thee coach to genting. The journey was super short: Coz i had been slping the thru/o the whole journey. Wasn't enough though. Reach the place only at 5am, and have to wait until 12pm b4 we can check in. Meanwhile we went for breakfast at a dim sum restaurant and bought tickets to the outdoor theme park.
First Day(24th): Outdoor theme park, Movie
Sec Day(25th) : Phototaking, Vist some temples, at nite failed crashing casino(hee..)
Last Day(26th): Shopping again and prepared to leave Genting In fact Genting is so small, what we do daily is somehow routine --> Either U eat, shop, slp or play.

for(int i = 19; i<23; i++)

This period of break free from studies and attachment was a super busy period for me. Chalet was on the 21 to 23 may. On the 19th, wed, sisters and i went for shopping for FOOD for our sec class chalet~~!! Was so fun, we planned for the rice n noodles, snacks, drinks, BBQ food and seafoods.
21st(fri): Morning, I attended an interview at DBS bank. Some ppl advice that banking is no longer having any prospect, some others still encourage me to go for it. As usual, I was abit late again (5min) BUT i suppose the first person for interview is even later. The moment i reached, the receptionist thought i was the 1st interviewee and asked me to sit for the test. She asked for "Su ling" and i thought she might have pronouce my name wrongly, which should be "Siew Ying". So i reacted to her. LolxXxx... Then the real "Su ling" came in ltr and introduced herself. During the 1 hour interview, the interviewer asked abt almost everything which i think, i tried boasting and crapping. =PppPp Afternoon, Sisters and I transfer the food over to our chalet @Sentosa Holiday Chalet. Wasn't really a great day coz our driver helped us to send foods and stuff all the way into sentosa, yet we locked his car keys in the car. Imagine how that freaks everyone esp the owner of the car. First nite at chalet was still fun, everyone enjoyed and I stayed until 3.30pm b4 leaving for my cousin's place at tampines, preparing for her wedding dinner the next day.
22nd(sat): Reached coz place at 4pm, prepared myself for the early photo taking and being bridemaids. Was sooo tired that i fell aslp many times while making hairdo during the evening. Lucky enough another coz of mine managed to ask her fren to send me back to HarbourFront Mrt. Met a fren first b4 going back to chalet. Well, the moment i reach, i slp thru/o. Was being reprimand..lolxx.. by my xclazmates for org the chalet yet not attending it.
23rd(sun): Finally chalet ended, da pao everything home. Had a short rest b4 packing up again for my next trip to genting with poly frenz. We set out in the evening then.

do {chalet, coz wedding, msia} while {having break}

Phew...attachment is over, meant to be a time to rest. Yet some of us were asked to extend at M1. Half of us stayed for the sake of pay, n almost all who stayed regret.. Some of us intend to take a break to go overseas, yet the FBI(our supp) insist that we finished our work for HER, cover the target we should hit for the week before leaving for holiday. Soon, all of us came to realise that she got all the incentives e.g. cash bonus n promotion etc etc for all the hard work we had done. SHE got the fame, SHE got the rewards. What have we who paid gotten? LOLxXxx..we have those souvenir: m1 limited edition notebook?? m1 limited edition mouse pad?? some pathetic small snack pkt?? gosh.. this is how FBI treats us. Wanna know what's FBI? All of us name it as FAT BITCH INC. Well, i took 3 week days unpaid leave and was asked to hit my target first. I learnt from my collegues lesson that no point hitting the target for her, since we covered what we should do for the week, but we are not paid for what we have done, so why bothered? Yeep.. true, so my daily target was 120calls per day, i hit 80 for the 1st day and 90+ for the subsequent days.
